Chapter 2: The Creatures of the Air Most of these creatures are common birds such as Crows, Owls, Chickadees, Sparrows, and such but a few of these flying creatures are not related to birds at all, and there are still some birds found only in Raisa. I will name these and not go through the many types of regular birds found most everywhere. In Alphabetical order. Asidwr Asidwr is a bird that rather resembles an eagle but they are different in many ways. Asidwr tend to range in colors from a deep blue to a light purple and the have a long beak that is perfect for snatching small mice off the ground. Mice and other small rodents are their main food but on occasion they are able to catch a small Grah bat whitch are considered a delicacy among Asidwr. The Asidwr who catch these bats are considered special as it takes great skill to catch a Grah bat as Grah bats have quick reflexes and extra excellent hearing. Asidwr hatch from dark glossy black eggs about 3 months or so after being laid. An Asidwr takes about 2 months to get all their flight feathers and after another two months till they are full grown. An Asidwr’s wingspan is about 2 feet from wing tip to wing tip straight across. They have large tails that help to catch winds even if they are very slight. Their large tails also help when they fly close to the ground searching for prey. Their tails also have the ability to fold up like an accordion when speeding through a narrow space.
