You approach a small cottage in the woods. Outside on the right is a large cauldron simmering over a fire. There is a rough wooden table and 2 benches outside on the left. There is a stony walkway leading up to the cottage door. A strange figure sits at the table and is just...sitting there. Where do you wish to go?

Spring floated in, unknowingly carrying very priceless secrets that he could spill if he wanted. His huge balloon hit the window, and popped. He slammed into the table, the blast spinning him.

The figure at the table rises up. It speaks softly, slightly hissing, "What is it you seek? Why have you come?"

"I came upon the Wind of the South, and my balloon popped. I try not to fly too much."

"So," says the figure, "Will you leave or will you stay? I can tell your future if you wish."

"Right-0" says teh figure, "I can tell your future 13 different ways. Crystal ball, cookies, divination cards, dice, coins, palm reading, and a lot of other ways. If you can't decide which one then we'll do them all."

"I'll try them all. Palm Reading shall be mighty difficult." Spring said, showing his tiny hands.

the figure produces a small magnifying glass. She takes Spring's hand and studies it for a few minutes and then looks up. "Well, you were right, reading yourt palm IS difficult but I was able to get a couple of things. 1: You're going to find a large supply of helium balloons in a dragon's cave. 2: Your going to collide with a seagull while flying with your eyes shut in a couple of days. 3: This one is vague but I think it means that you're going to have a large candy bar later today. So, I'll read teh cookies next. That all right with you?"

"Sounds good." Spring said, absentmindedly eating what looked like a Twix bar that was much too large for him.

The figure dissapears in to teh cotteage for a few minutes and then returns witha tray of cookies. "Fresh cookies are easier to read." she proclaimes. The figure places the tray of cookies on the table. There are 9 cokies on teh tray. a sugar, a chocolate chip, a peanutbutter, a white chocolate chip, a ginger, a molasses, a nut, and a funny looking multi colored one. the figure blindfolds herself and then randomly pickes upa cookie and takes a bite. "Mmm. Nummy, Ginger cookie. Thats a sure sign of a battle up ahead." The figure then chooses another cookie "Yum, chocolate chip, that means that you'll encounter a surprise soon." And the figure chooses anotehr. it is the multi colored one. "YUMMY! JUICANE!" she hollers. "Haven't got that one in a while! Am i right in thinking that you have been to or live in Dala? Oh, by the way. Feel free to eat the rest of teh cookies."

"Hmm." the figure says. "For the last, perhaps I shall read the teeth?" She pulls out a small bag from her cloak and dumps the contents on the table. They are teeth. nasty sharp pointed teeth with dried blood on them. "Teeth" she says, "very powerful and from a powerful scource as well. Teeth of Raslith perhaps would be a good name for them. But I like to call them Tsardiai." She shakes them up in her hands and throws them on the table They gleam with power and spark as they hit the table. A small fire grows around them. They glow with a silver sheen. She studies them. "Hmm...the bone. Haven't seen that in a while. That means a death or two. Not very nice. And the dagger-that means a betrayal. Hm-rose-means a party or a fun social gathering with a lot of sugar, cookies, and punch for everyone. Oh. The star-That means history. What? The archway. Thats sure sign of adventure-the scary kind. Entering the unknown you know. And lastly...what the?! The tower? The Bottle? Of dear oh dear. Thats a sure sign of an evil spirit around. The tower represents a power higher than mortal conciousness. Oh dear. That can only mean. Freig."

Spring scowled and closed his eyes. "There is no one more powerful than I" he said, becoming full size and throwing his hair out of his eyes. He glowed with power, his wings shimmering. He called his staff and said, "Should Freig try to smite me down, he'll find himself disasterously scattered across the Worlds!" with a flourish. Sparks flew from Spring's hand as he worked up his Sprite's Rage.

The figure laughs, "Freig isn't a person, Freig is a place. It was hidden far away for along time. Now, perhaps, it has been discovored."
